Payment

Require 14-21 days notice in non peak seasons. Payment is due at the time of order, and will be cancelled at midnight. 

Rush Orders

All orders booked less than 14 days will incur a rush order fee. The fee starts at 50% ( can be greater due to the complexity ) of the total order.

Custom Orders

*A 50% retainer is required to hold the date, and start the preparations for all orders $301 and above. (This only applies to orders booked 30 days in advance). Any remaining balance(s) will be due 14 days prior to Pick-up/ Delivery. Any order under $300 requires 100% payment via Electronic Payments and validates your signature and agreement to the Terms of Services of this contract. Securing full or partial payment also confirms that you agree that certain creative changes may be made to your final design for the sake of stability, structural integrity or other certain emergencies.

All Sales Final. No returns or refunds.

In view of the nature of the service, any order - once confirmed by the Company - is not cancellable. Retainers are non-refundable. If no deposit was made, a percentage of the total order price will be refunded, only in the event that preparations have not been started on the order. No order can be cancelled within two weeks of the delivery/ pick up date.

Cancellation

Changes to your cake order: Size, description, flavors, etc. will be accepted until two (2) weeks prior to the event date. After that lockout date we cannot accept any changes. No monies will be refunded in the event your order decreases in size or intricacy.

Cake Changes

Tasting appointments are taken for custom cake orders that will have a minimum price of $300 or cake orders that are 50 servings or more.  Reservations are taken on a first come first served basis. A certain percentage, non-refundable, deposit will secure your date on our calendar. Tastings are by appointment only.

Tastings

All orders must be picked up at the pre-arranged pick-up time. If not picked up in a timely manner, cakes may have to be picked up the next day. Delivery fee is $75 within a 25 miles radius, and $1 per mile thereafter. If delivery is not prepaid; cake will NOT be delivered. NO EXCEPTIONS. before serving, store cake in a cool place away from bright lights. It is ok to put the cake in refrigerator, allow it to come to room temperature, but doing so, the air can cause condensation, causing the cake to bleed and melt. Place in a cool place and it will dry.  Sugarlicious is not responsible for weather conditions and outcome of cake after leaving the Sugarlicious kitchen.

Pick-Ups

Pictures are welcomed. But I do not copy/duplicate/replicate cakes. I will incorporate all major themes of the cake example, but not create the same exact cake. I make every cake unique to Sugarlicious, and will not copy another Baker’s work. Colors will be interpreted to the best of my ability. Please be specific. If you want a specific color please provide color/fabric swatch (pictures are not swatches). Food color reacts differently, and can also change after sitting for more than 6 hours. Also photography can make colors appear differently as well. I can guarantee to match the hues within 4 colors (dark/warm) when swatches are provided.

Designs/Colors

• Specialty Cakes begin at $6.50 per serving

• Fondant cakes begin at $8.00

• Cupcakes begin at  $65 per dozen

• Specialty and Custom cupcakes begin at $85 /dozen

Please note: These are base prices and do not include intricate design, specialty toppers, handmade gum paste molds, edible attachments, and crystal embellishments.

We promise to do everything in our power to deliver you a cake that exceeds your expectations. We will work with you on every level to make sure you are completely satisfied and happy with your cake.

Sugarlicious Guarantee

In the case of an emergency, please contact us immediately so we can fix the issue right away! If you are unhappy with your cake for any reason, please call us the day of your event and explain the situation. In the rare case that you are unhappy with your cake, you must call the day of your event so your cake can be returned. Only requests concerning taste and quality will be considered. Without proof that you are indeed unhappy with the product and will not be using it for your event, we will be unable to refund any portion of your payment.
